Packaging Certification Fees
(updated: 05.2004 r.)

1. UN Certification

Transport packaging and flexible IBCs – the certificate is issued for 12 months,

• Cost of the certificate: PLN 1000

• Prolongation of the certificate validity: PLN 750

• Extension of the certificate: PLN 400

• Changes in the certificate particulars (change of name of the certified company, etc.): PLN 300

• Price of an audit: the organizational and technical control, verification that the certificate is used properly, collecting samples PLN 500 (for each full day of control) and business travel allowances incurred.

Please note that if the certificate procedures are based on documentation in a foreign language, the certification fee can be increased by up to 30%.

Rigid IBCs – the certificate is issued for 36 months

• Cost of the certificate: PLN 1600

• Prolongation of the certificate:  PLN 1300

• Extension of the certificate: PLN 750

• Changes in the certificate particulars (change of name of the certified company, etc.): PLN 300

• Price of an audit: the organizational and technical control, verification that the certificate is used properly, collecting samples PLN 500 (for each full day of control) and business travel allowances incurred.

Please note that if the certificate procedures are based on documentation in a foreign language, the certification fee can increase by up to 30%. 

Single licence

• The cost of licence for single use of the UN mark: PLN 250

2. Certification for the Safety Mark B

Certification of standard compliance or compliance with other normative document

The first instance of the certificate: 36 months, prolongation – 3 to 5 years

• Cost of the certificate: PLN 1600

• Prolongation of the certificate: PLN 1300

• Extension of the certificate: PLN 750

• Changes in the certificate particulars (change of name of the certified company, etc.): PLN 300

• Price of an audit: the organizational and technical control, verification that the certificate is used properly, collecting samples PLN 500 (for each full day of control) and business travel allowances incurred.

Please note that if the certificate procedures are based on documentation in a foreign language, the certification fee can increase by up to 30%.

3. Certification of recyclable packaging – the certificate is issued for 36 months

• Cost of the certificate: PLN 600

• Prolongation of the certificate: PLN 600

• Extension of the certificate: PLN 300

• Changes in the certificate particulars (change of name of the certified company, etc.):

• Price of an audit: the organizational and technical control, verification that the certificate is used properly, collecting samples PLN 500 (for each full day of control) and business travel allowances incurred.

The cost of additional study, if required – according to the settlement

A yearly fee for using the recyclability logo:

• PLN 300 (when the 12-month manufacturing output does not exceed PLN 300000)

• PLN 900 (when the 12-month manufacturing output does not exceed 1500000)

• PLN 1500 (when the 12-month manufacturing output is PLN 1500000 or over)

As of 01.04.2004 a Value Added Tax @ 22% was imposed on certification fees (Ustawa z dnia 11. marca 2004 r. o podatku od towarów i usług [The act of 11.03.2004 on goods and services tax]), (Dz.U. 54/04, item 535).
