Testing for
the
Safety Mark B certification purposes
The Laboratory has received the PCA accreditation
certificate No. AB 184, which authorizes to carry out
testing of transport packaging. Testing for the Safety Mark
B is conducted in accordance with technical standards
stipulated by the Packaging Certification Centre.
Results of the tests are a basic requirement when applying
for the Safety Mark B certification.
Scope of packages testing for the Safety Mark B includes:

Leakproofness test

Grip break test

Drop testing

Static pressure resistance testing

Inclined plane test (horizontal impact)

Low frequency vibration test

Conditioning test (material resistance to high
temperature)

Determining cardboard type
The scope of testing and requirements depend on the type of
the tested packaging in accordance with the technical
standards of the assessment.
