Professor Tkaczyk is graduated from AGH
University of Science and Technology. He pursued
his academic career acquiring PhD and then the
Professor titles while working at the Silesian
University of Technology, where he performed a
number of essential duties, including testing and
managing plants, the only ones of their kind in
Poland. |
Professor Tkaczyk is a
recognised specialist in Poland and abroad in the fields
of materials science and quality management, based on
quality standards. He wrote over 300 non-serial
publications and articles; he is an author of numerous
works on research and development in the above mentioned
subjects. He actively collaborates with the industry.
Professor Tkaczyk has worked with various foreign
universities:
From 1978 to 1986 he worked on Materials Science at Kiev
University of Technology and Ukrainian Academy of Science;
in 1992 he worked on Quality Management at British
Standard Institution, Milton, UK;
in 1998 he worked on EU Quality Management at SINCO
(Ministry of Economy), Italy and IPQ, Portugal
in 2000 he had a period of work experience in AOTC, Japan.
Professor Tkaczyk cooperates with ORGMASZ – the Institute
of Organisation and Management in Industry, Warsaw.
He is also actively involved
in the work of many institutions, scientific research
facilities and government organisations as:

Professor Tkaczyk became an Honorary Winner of the Polish
Quality Prize. He has received the Officer Cross of Order
of Polonia Restituta, Order of the Grand Cross of Revival
of Poland, Gold and Silver Crosses of Merit, Gold Honorary
Badge of Merit and National Technical Organisation’s
Silver Badge.
